Meet Emily Roose, Founder & Principal Designer
Emily Roose’s path to design was anything but conventional, and that perspective is part of what sets her work apart.
Before founding Emily Roose Interiors, Emily built her career in brand strategy and digital content, serving as a promotions and digital content director for iHeart Media in Southern California while developing strong ties to Nashville through nationally syndicated programming and the music industry. That background continues to shape her work today, bringing a rare understanding of how spaces communicate, how details influence perception, and how to guide clients through a process that protects both their time and investment.
Her transition into design was built through hands-on experience across multiple facets of the industry. Emily trained under LEED-accredited and historic preservation designer Sarah Barnard, worked under celebrity designer Steven Cordrey on hospitality, commercial, and residential projects with budgets reaching $200 million, and managed Cordrey Collection in the LA Mart, where she expanded her expertise in custom furniture and product design.
She later served as the in-house interior designer for a Lake Tahoe architectural firm and two custom home builders, collaborating closely with high-end design and construction teams before leading projects under her own studio. Today, Emily brings that cross-industry experience to luxury interior design in Franklin, Tennessee, supporting projects with greater foresight, stronger coordination, and a deeper understanding of how design decisions shape both the process and the final result.
A personal health journey with thyroid disease deepened Emily’s commitment to wellness-informed design, not as an aesthetic trend, but as a meaningful foundation. Every material, finish, and spatial decision is considered through the lens of how a space supports the way clients live, function, and feel.
Emily holds degrees in both marketing and interior design and is a member of ASID. Her work has been featured in publications including Elle Decor, Dwell, and Mountain Living. She was also selected for HGTV’s national Faces of Design contest and featured in Brookdale Senior Living’s design series, Make It Mine, in addition to receiving international recognition in residential interiors and custom product design.
She brings clarity, confidence, and a refined point of view to complex projects, along with a deep respect for every person involved in bringing them to life.
